Music is of paramount importance and forms an integral part of our co-curricular education. At DMPS the amalgamation of theoretical and practical knowledge of music is imparted with a holistic blend that enables students to not only master their performance area but also be conceptually strong.
Students are mentored in both vocal and instrumental music training.
At DMPS students are exposed to different forms and styles of vocal music through a specially designed curriculum through their weekly classes. Our young musicians are trained under the guidance of a cross-genre vocalist,educator and master of the domain.
The school provides opportunity to pursue hobbies and passions and host a platform with hands-on practice to play different types of latest and best instruments like tabla, guitar, sitar, keyboard, drum etc under the guidance of proficient teachers and instrumentalists who aid refine skills and techniques of the students. Students are offered opportunities through regular assemblies, inter house and inter school competitions and its well celebrated festival “KALA MANTHAN” annually.
We at DMPS believe in freedom of expression and allow Deeparians to express their best in the most effective way and form i.e Dance.It is an ally for developing children and teaches agility , coordination , balance , stamina , strength and sense of control with their body and movements. Students are trained in various classical , non- classical and latest dance forms in their weekly dance period in specially designed dance rooms under the guidance of trained and professional dance teachers. The creative dance performances displayed as annual ritual On Annual Day Celebration are captivating, reflective that evoke exuberance and ensure 100% participation of each Deeparian. DMPS remained committed towards providing quality dance education and training while investing deeply in creative and choreographic development.
