An amalgamation of work and study is the key element to make the learning process joyful. At Deep Memorial Public school we aim to provide practical experience to our students in the course of their academic journey. An array of activities are provided that compliment our curriculum and also gives the students an opportunity to display their talent. We have created clubs to engage in specific activities that help students develop their social and interpersonal skills. We have an array of clubs for our young children that they can be a part of such as the Clubs for Taekwondo, Skating, Yoga, Classical Dance, Western Dance, Music, Computer, Maths, Chess and Carrom, Calligraphy and Art. Children are free to choose the club of their choice. These activities are held every Friday for the junior students.
Class III and IV children presented ‘EUPHORIA 2019’an annual presentation on 28 September, 2019. The program gave a glance of various dance forms of different countries.
Deep Memorial Public School celebrated Annual Presentation of Class I & II with the theme INDIAN PANORAMA…. the journey unfolds with unprecedented fanfare on February 15, 2020 at the school premises. The school was decorated elegantly.

had been invited as the guests. The talented students presented welcome song for them and enthusiastically represented the rich heritage of various states of India. The folk dances, famous personalities, popular tourist places, emporiums, handicrafts of the states like Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, West Bengal and Kerala were showcased by the students in their respective classrooms. The delicacies of these states were also served in the food zone.
“Childhood is not a race to see how quickly a child can read, write and count.” Childhood is a small window of time to learn and develop at the pace which is right for each individual child. With this notion in mind we at Deep Memorial Public School organised RANG???? on 28 Nov’19 wherein we welcomed our neighbourhood play schools for the fun filled Happy Hours with a plethora of well planned activities such as “Each one plant one” , “Fun with origami”, face painting, exciting game zone, “JAM session” and many more.
Mother- a creator, an epitome of selfless love and a best friend forever! The bond of mother and her child is beyond any other relationship in the world. To make this special bond even more stronger, the mother teachers with the kindergarteners celebrate SUPER MOMS every year with high spirits and merriment. It is a theme based fun filled day for moms and kids with a plethora of activities such as ramp walk, lookalike competition, exciting games, live music, selfie booth, theme based Tambola , mesmerizing dance performances by kids, imprompto thematic presentations and last but not the least aromatic food court.
An excursion was organised on 30th January 2020 to Waste To Wonder (theme park) for children from pre-primary to IV.
The Waste To Wonder is a theme park where replicas of some of the famous monuments in the world can be seen which are made up of industrial waste and other waste materials like scrap metal, discarded auto parts procured from the landfills of the city.
The beauty of the 70ft tall Eiffel Tower made up of wrought-iron, the beautiful structure of Taj Mahal, its intricate design, the replica of world’s largest amphitheatre of Colosseum from Rome, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Pyramid of Giza and the replica of Brazil’s Christ The Redeemer kept the children mesmerised. They were educated about the history behind these monuments and the importance of the eco-friendly park.
Educational tours are a part and parcel of learning at DMPS. An excursion for the students of Class I and II on September 24, 2019 to National Bal Bhavan was organised. It was a great learning experience for them. The mini train was the star attraction. The students had fun at the toy train ride and also saw many different cities and states which were depicted on station’s walls. Thereafter, they visited mini zoo and aviary. Their expression of compassion for the animals was spontaneous. They were taken to the National Children’s Museum and the children were amazed to see toys and dolls from different countries, traditional jewellery, utensils and musical instruments, turbans from different states of India. They were attracted to the small aquariums with their colourful fish. The mirror section was a big attraction for children. No wonder the children were in splits! They were enthralled by the beauty, embellishment and knowledge they gained at Bal Bhavan. It was a once in a lifetime experience for them.
Adventure Camp at Rocksport : “Muddy Boots”
‘Adventure sports for students are highly motivational and practical which are unlikely to be seen from the normal classroom environment. Adventure aims at increasing productivity, encourages students to work in different working environment, it builds team spirit, friendship and trust amongst each other.’
In order to inculcate different life skills, Deep Memorial Public School in collaboration with Rocksport, organised an adventure Camp at Muddy Boots, Greater Noida for the students of classes Nursery- IV. Away from the busy crowded roads of Delhi, the students, accompanied by their teachers, reached their destination where delicious breakfast and fun activities awaited them. These activities aimed at maintaining fitness level and the physical mental balance of a student. The young Deeparians gained new perspective as they got to face different obstacles in the form of activities like Burma Bridge, Commando Net, Tyre Maze, zip lining, wall climbing etc.
